How do I calculate the number of days between two dates?

Subtract the earlier date from the later date. In Excel: =DAYS(end_date, start_date) or simply =B2-A2 formatted as number. In JavaScript: Math.abs(date2 - date1) / (1000*60*60*24). Our calculator does this instantly — enter both dates and click Calculate.

Enter your birth date in the 'Date Info' tab and click Calculate. It shows the exact day of the week, week number of the year, and day number of the year. Alternatively, in Excel: =TEXT(A1,'dddd') returns the day name from any date.

How do I add 90 days to a date?

Use the 'Add/Subtract Days' tab. Enter your start date, enter 90 in the days field, and click Calculate. In Excel: =A1+90 directly adds 90 days to any date in cell A1. You can also add months (EDATE function) or years in Excel.

Our calculator counts total days and also shows weekdays (working days, excluding Saturdays and Sundays). For India-specific public holidays, the NETWORKDAYS.INTL function in Excel accepts a custom holiday list. General rule: total weekdays between dates = NETWORKDAYS(start, end) - 1 in Excel.
