• How do I calculate the difference between two dates?+

• How many days are between two dates?+
  Subtract the earlier date from the later date. For example, from 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dec 2024 is 365 days. Our calculator handles leap years and month-length differences automatically — just pick your dates.
• How are working days counted?+
  Working days (also called business days) exclude Saturdays and Sundays. The calculator counts every Monday–Friday between your two dates. Public holidays are not deducted since they vary by state and employer — use our Working Days Calculator for a more detailed count.
• What is the date difference formula?+
  Date difference in days = End Date − Start Date. In Excel, use =DATEDIF(start,end,"D") for days, "M" for months, "Y" for years. Our calculator applies all three automatically, plus weeks and working days.
